Release 5.6.0

New Features and Enhancements

  1. This release adds support for newer hardware version of smartdirector (model SDIR-1-D).
  2. The linux kernel for smartdirector has been upgraded to version 5.4 to add support for the new platform.

Warning

This new smartdirector appliance requires version 5.6.0 or later. Earlier versions are not supported on this platform.

Bug Fixes

This release has the following bug fixes in addition to those addressed in earlier releases (REL-5.5.3).

  1. An emergency lighting fixture cannot be deleted from the system. Once fixture has been physically removed, there were no options to remove it from the zone. Fixtures associated with emergency lighting zones are not available in the dialog to delete missing fixtures. This fix provides ability to remove a disconnected fixture from its emergency lighting zone in the zone detail view showing the fixture specific card views.

  2. MQTT client does not recover from repeated interruptions in connection to the broker. The client terminates, and requires the feature to the disabled and reenabled. This has been fixed in this release.

Open Issues

  1. Under commission systems in floorplans section, uploading a new floorplan image to replace an older image may not be seen unless the browser cache is refreshed.
  2. The ability to merge multiple clusters into a single cluster is not available in smartmanager.
  3. MQTT API for environmental sensor incorrectly publishes data to locations that do not have the sensor, if the sensor was part of the location earlier, but has been moved out.
  4. Temperature alarms configured for fixtures in a location are not being activated.
